my neighbour called me the Pied Piper today. as the girls and i were heading out to the park this morning, we ran into one neighbour after another and we collected the kids and took them with us to the park. and soon, some other neighbours showed up too. then we all made our way to one house where they were getting a new driveway poured. they wanted all the kids to put their hand prints on the wet cement.
it was almost a perfect day. sunny, breezy...we could have stayed outside all day.
in the afternoon, after Claire's nap, we headed to the pool. Skye is getting better at her doggy paddle. :) it's slow, but i think she is getting more comfortable with the water. Claire seems to love the feeling of floating in the water. she holds onto the stairs and lets her legs float up and she sort of hangs out like that. she gets a kick out of jumping up and down in the water as well. it's a pleasure to watch her experimenting with the water.
