here we are at Elmo's, a local diner that is kid-friendly. we miss this place!!
and Locopops, our favourite place to be in the summer time. they have the best popsicles! Claire tasted her first locopop this time. Skye loves the cookies n cream while i love the mango chile. maybe Claire will have a favourite flavour on her next visit.

great to see you guys. Kaitlyn will be happy to see herself featured on your blog. we've been thinking of you as we hear about all the flooding in Wisconsin. Have you been affected at all, or has that been mostly the folks closer to the lakes?

thanks, Ginny - it was great to see you and your family too!! Skye LOVED her time with Kaitlyn and Emma...we wish we could live closer! oh well. i suppose i should have asked Kaitlyn's permission before featuring her on the blog?? i better remember that for next time!
where we are hasn't been too bad, but yes, the areas around the lakes have had a rough time. some of our friends' basements have flooded and some of the streets have closed due to high water levels. but we are really doing alright.
