Happy Easter

hope you are all having a beautiful Easter weekend. we celebrate one week of Cordelia's life and it has been good. she is nursing well and growing chubby with each day. here's a picture of her after a particularly sleepless night for me - do you see all the milk crusted around her mouth? :)



i was in a black mood in the morning after the particular night of feasting, but then Phil brought home these beautiful flowers for me from the farmer's market and now i have them in the room to remind me of the warm spring outside.



i managed to get a little bit of Easter going in the house before the weekend.



and here are our tulips blooming in the front of the house. i stepped outside briefly yesterday and was thrilled to see them. i look forward to getting out of the house to enjoy the lovely weather we have been having. but for now, i'm still trying to recuperate and take things slowly.
